Parents’ Association.
For many years now we have had the benefit and support of a very active Parents’ Association. This Association, which recruits new members each September is involved in the drawing up of school policy in certain areas, organises extra curricular activities and supports the school in a variety of ways.
A very hard working fund raising committee raises funds each year. This means that as well as making up the shortfall in government funding, we are enabled to carry out necessary refurbishment and renovations and to provide funding for extra equipment and amenities.
Road Safety.
The safety of children travelling to and from school has been a particular concern of parents over the years. The co-operation of all parents is necessary in this matter. You are requested not to drive down Loreto Avenue, the cul-de-sac in front of the school, when dropping off or collecting children. You are especially requested not to reverse cars into the cul-de-sac.
Parking Code.
STOP RIGHT NOW!
Irresponsible and unlawful driving and parking practices endanger the lives of the children. The child’s safety is paramount.
Please adhere to the following:
- DO NOT drive your vehicle into the roadway marked NO ENTRY on this map.
- DO NOT PARK on corners or block driveways. It is illegal.
- The lollipop lady is the law! Park at a safe distance from the school crossing.
- On wet days, more time and care is needed.
- Please be careful and courteous at all times.
- Walk or car share where possible.
Co-operation with the above will help to avoid injury to or death of a child.
